The Sands CISD Board of Trustees met in special session with the following board members present:

Stan Blagrave Steve Blagrave

Amy Parker Martin Nichols

Michelle Zant Tommy Staggs

Also present: Wayne Blount, Superintendent

Fred Parker w/ Parker & Associates

Burton Sandefur w/DSA Construction Management

Joe Carlock w/ DSA Construction Management

Don Gibson w/DSA Construction Management

President Stan Blagrave called meeting to order.

Invocation was led by Steve Blagrave.

Parker & Associates and DSA Construction Management presented to the Board the following presentation on the design for new gym and auditorium.

. Change location

. Concession upgrade w/outside entrance

. Coaches office in center of locker rooms

. Slope auditorium seating

. Lift for stage

. Minimize access to gym floor

. Larger stage

. Taller stage

. Have stationary seating on visitors

Motion was made by Amy Parker and seconded by Steve Blagrave to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
