It's easy to feel a sense of pride in this school when considering the people and the programs at Sands. Excellence is an attitude that shines through, both in our academics and co-curricular activities.
A spirit of excellence is also evident in the members of our faculty and staff. Each of them exhibits a strength of character that enables them to be role models for those they teach. They are good examples to their students.
Exemplary - that's being a good example. The Texas Education Agency has recognized Sands Elementary as "exemplary" for the past six years and Sands Secondary also as "exemplary" for the past five. We are honored to be considered an example for other schools.
