Hi !! My name is Valinda Saldivar and Im a Sophmore here in Ackerly . I absolutely love this school...I love it because it sooo small and of course there is a lot of drama but I just dust it off my shoulder and go on with life. Another reason why I like this school is because everybody has a chance to do every sport...you dont have to try out for anything and the coaches here are actually more friendly than the ones we've had before. The only sport you HAVE to try out for is cheerleading, but other than that, you have a pretty good chance of playing any sport that you want. Here in Ackerly, Im real busy throughout the year  just because i have sooo many things that I do. Im a J.V. Basketball player, Im a Varsity Cheerleader, I compete in U.I.L (but we all know Im not that smart), and this year Im thinking  about doing tennis, and I cant forget that im going to TRY to do One Act Play but we'll see what happens. Well thats enough about school. I do go to school here in Ackerly but I live in Big Spring. I've gotten used to driving to Ackerly everyday though so for me its NO problem. At home i have two little sisters and an older sister...my three year old sister Victoria ....and my two year old sister Gabby. I LOVE those kids to DEATH!!!!  Than i have my older sister Kayla Franco....well yes there is times that me and her DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT GET ALONG but later on we realize how stupid it was that we were fighting over. 

         My favorite hobby has to be shopping ...I absolutely LOVE clothes!!!! I just love it. I like fashion so i dont really like bein dressed down a lot...My favorite stores are Hollister and American Eagle, but I'll wear whatever looks good..lol...I have one best friend and her name is Miss Melony Ruiz..I luv that gurl but when me and her are together when we're hyper...o jeez...thats trouble! She been there for me since day one and we've had some haters lately so we've become more stronger as people. I do hang out with a lot of people so I dont really have a specific click or anything I love hanging out with all the cheerleaders because believe it or not we have All become sisters.... I love each and every one of them. Me and Ashli are the biggest blondes you will ever meet and Kimberly is the one who basically keeps everything together so we definately thank her for that ...she's one of my closest friends too. Then there's KAYLA G. Omgsh me and her have soooooo much fun together, we're also real dingy too...lol...especially Kayla. Than theres BASKETBALL!!!! Well we all know that basketball is just not my thing....and trust me, I came sooo close to quitting just because I didnt really think that I could make it on the team but somehow the first day became soo much easier for me....Our basketball team has its ups and downs but in the end we're all really close too. I think that the teams biggest encourager has to be Dannon because I will like be dieing there on the lines running and she'll be the one there yelling at me constantly soo I like have to have her there yelling at me or I wont make it...Something about that court just takes me away from everything going on here at school. O!! and i cant leave out our coaches.... Coach Connell and Coach Peugh A.K.A. Dr. Phil..lol. Our team is soo blessed to have them as coaches just because they care so much about us and i didnt realize that until this year...They only want whats best for us. We have like the best football team ( I think that we do) this year. Yea we have lost three games but i believe that our football team has the most heart. Something about the guys this year just made them come out and do their best. So I'm glad that this year we have a chance to at least go to the playoffs. Cheering for the guys is really hard becuase when your out there cheering ....all you really wanna do is watch the game. Other than that Cheering is the best....It's my favorite sport.

        Well basically thats all about me ...my life can be exciting at some times but not usually. Well i did leave one person out...and i think we all know who that might be ..lol... Yes his name is Jesus Casas!! He's my boyfriend, and he'll be turning 18 on the 27 of November  even though he acts like he's 16 but that's okay...he plays Varsity Football, and he's #44 in case ya'll wanna watch him. hmmm what else.....Well he is a great guy, I luv that kidd. And yes he does treat me right ....a lot of my teachers like him a lot better than all my other ones...lol...i wonder why. Which I'm pretty glad he's on Coach Connell's good side.
